More upscale Thai infusion food. Really great presentations with their cocktails, food plating, & the desserts. My favorite was their colored coconut ice cream with some type of smoke fog coming out of it. They have some mocktail options as well. I really like the ambiance the most. Sitting at the bar is a whole vibe. Various items to choose from whether you're a carnivore or gluten free & vegan. Can get pricy if you are ordering multiple dishes but worth it. You're coming for the experience & leaving with a smile on your face. I saw a lot of birthday parties here and dates. It is intimate, romantic atmosphere. They have live music sometimes and a DJ who comes out. No dance floor or anything.

This was my first time at MaKiin but won't be the last. Was here for a friend's birthday dinner and the ambiance and food were amazing! They have a wide variety when it comes to their menu even including various vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Our server was great, describing each dish, answering any questions, suggesting cocktails, and letting us know crowd favorite entrees. I personally had the flavorful drunken adventure which is a vegetable and steak stir fry and 1000/10 it was soo flavorful and perfectly cooked! Can't wait to come back. I will note for larger parties they only split the check 4 times; and don't do individual splits but was no problem for our party.

Ambience is so pretty. Dj or background music is so romantic and trendy. Went 2x in 1 week. Food was delis ious but super spicey for some friends. My go to for any out of towners. Service was friendly and very present.

Great location, great service, great decor, great ambiance, great food, and fair prices ! Came here with my family for New Year's Eve and they had a fun masquerade theme with live music and a dancer. Great experience !

Admittedly I felt that this place seemed way bigger on IG and other platforms. But definitely appreciated the intimate setting it actually provided. The place is beautifully curated with tokens from Thailand. The service was fabulous, we had Ryan as our waiter and he was attentive even though he had to split himself between the bar and the tables that evening. His knowledge of the menu was very helpful. The appetizer tower was delicious, the green curry was warm and filling. The fried street noodles with beef were so good. All of the dishes were good. The best part for me is when the DJ started his set and elevated the whole restaurants vibe!

Since I ordered take out, I can not comment on service, but the food is delicious! I ordered the black mussels and chicken fried rice. The mussels had a very flavorful broth with a tinge of spice to it. Dipping the bread in that broth was wonderful. I also was delighted to get so many mussels! I loved that they used a lot of fresh (not frozen) ingredients in their fried rice. I liked that it was chunky, meaning big pieces of meat and veggies. I also liked that veggies were not over cooked and had a crisp bite. I can say this was the freshest fried rice I've ever had. Very enjoyable. I would definitely order food from this restaurant again.

Makiin was amazing! I am so very impressed with my first time here. Their drinks were perfectly balanced, not too sweet but definitely taste the alcohol- I ordered the Pu Lae pineapple. I ordered the appetizer symphony- included watermelon summer salad, chive cake, Thai kick chicken, and another salad on a betel leaf? All were great- except the betel leaf- it's just not for me. Mains: Golden Tumeric Deep Sea ( whole fish ) served precut into cubes. The fish came out piping hot- dipping sauce for the fish was just mind blowing. Such a great combo. Also ordered the drunken noodle- also exceptional. Dessert: mango sticky rice- needed a little more condensed milk. Nothing too exciting Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was colorful, comfortable and clean. I came here for my birthday and they made a happy birthday sign for me!! ::tears:: so sweet and I thought that was above and beyond. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Ambiance: check. Service: check. Food presentation: double check! Food taste: check, but mediocre... If you're looking for an intimate date night, this is the place with all the vibes. It's average Thai food, elevated with presentation. We've all heard the saying, "You eat with your eyes first." The Spread: The Appetizer Symphony- A small bite of the popular apps, made for sharing. Roti- The curry dipping sauces are a bit salty. Stir Fry Chicky Pleasure- A little bit of spice, but not overwhelming. Average. E-San Ribs- Spicy and flavorful Mamasan Curry- Salty. I feel like most their curries are salty... Coconut Ice Cream Fantasy- A must try if you like coconut! Mango Sticky Rice- Mangoes are nice and ripe along with the not sticky sweet rice. Dessert Wonderland- A visual piece of art! It's fun (usually for young ones or the die hard cotton candy fanatics). They use iPads as menus. It'd be nice to have alcohol wipes or towelettes to clean our hands after ordering. There's hooks on the sides of the table for bags/purses- a big plus! No complaints with the service. They neatly pack your leftovers for you as well. Overall, a picturesque experience. I'd definitely return to try the cocktails!
